Stephanie Brown McGuffin

We are proud to have Stephanie Brown McGuffin as our Music Ministry Director. We are so fortuniate to have such a musically gifted and ‘bubbly’ personality to lead our music ministry.

Eric Bergland

Eric has been the Director of Youth Ministry and Christian Formation since November of 2010.  His primary emphasis at MCPC is youth (grades 6 - 12) ministry, but he dabbles in everything from the nursery through adult education.  Eric is committed to developing Christian leaders of all ages and equipping them to share the Good News with a world that desperately needs Jesus.

Eric graduated with B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Denver in 2005, and is currently a student at Fuller Theological Seminary.  He has been married to his wife, Christie, since 2006.

Kathy Boyles

Kathy Boyles joined our staff as the Office Manager in August, 2009. In this capacity, she works with volunteers and staff to keep all the behind-the-scenes support for ministry on track. The office is the place to connect for not only information, but inspiration to get involved in God’s work in this world.

Kathy is a graduate of Wheaton College and has lived in Colorado since the early 1970’s. Prior to coming to Monument Community Presbyterian Church, she served on the staff of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Colorado Springs. She immensely enjoyed ministering there to women, children and families, especially in the areas of discipleship, mentoring, music and camps. She is now grateful to use her gifts and abilities in this new setting to which God has called her. She also loves to study God’s Word with other believers and to challenge them to listen to His Spirit and use their lives to glorify Him.

Kathy has been married to Roger for 30+ years. They have two young adult children, Jenna (25) who trains horses and gives lessons in the Black Forest area, and Spencer (22), a recent graduate of Whitworth College now living in Seattle. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading, playing the piano, traveling, camping and cheering on the Rockies.
